Feedback Policy
Published: 24th July 2005
For subscribers who joined before the 24th July 2005 this policy takes effect on the 1st August 2005. All other users are bound by this policy until is is superceeded.
Overview
Every Sexybay user has a publicly accessible feedback record. This record is designed to reflect their status as a Sexybay member. The feedback system used by Sexybay is designed to be easy to interpret and allows for both buyers and sellers to inform other Sexybay users as to the reliability of other buyers and sellers.
At the completion of every auction there are two parts to the feedback process, these two parts can be completed in any order. One part is to be completed by the seller and the other part by the buyer.
Feedback by the seller
At the completion of the auction process the seller is able to provide feedback on the auction. The seller is asked to rate the sale as one of “Good”, “Bad” or “Indifferent”. The seller’s feedback then adjusts the buyer’s Sexybay Score. A rating of “Good” increases the buyer’s Sexybay Score by 1 point, a rating of “Bad” decreases the buyer’s Sexybay Score by 1 point and an “Indifferent” rating does not affect the buyer’s Sexybay Score.
The seller is also asked to provide a short comment (less than 200 characters) on the sale. These comments are made publicly accessible on the buyer’s feedback page. Feedback can be left anytime during the 30 days following the completion of the auction.
Feedback by the buyer
As with the seller, the buyer is also able to provide feedback on the auction. The buyer’s feedback form works in exactly the same way as the seller’s feedback form.
Sexybay Score icons
When viewing an auction, “feedback icons” are displayed next to the seller’s name. These icons can be used to provide a quick guide to the seller’s rating. The icons display a total feedback score for the seller. User’s feedback scores can be interpreted as follows:
-149 to -100 600 to 699
-99 to -50 700 to 799
-49 to -1 800 to 899
No Score (or 0) 900 to 999
1 to 99 1000 to 1099
100 to 199 1100 to 1199
200 to 299 ...
300 to 399 2300 to 2399
400 to 499 2400 to 2499
500 to 599 2500 or greater
External feedback adjustments
The feedback system is also used to track any policy offences made by a user. External feedback adjustment may be made by Sexybay staff under any of the following policies:
  • Non-paying bidder policy
  • Non-selling seller policy
  • Fraudulent seller policy
  • Usage agreement
Suspension or revocation of account by feedback rating
When an account reaches a feedback score of -100 it will be suspended for a period of 28 days. If the account reaches a score of -150 it will be suspended indefinitely.
Feedback disputes

Sexybay is aware that a user feedback system can, at times, be unfair. As such Sexybay has a feedback dispute policy. Under the terms of this policy, Sexybay will investigate any feedback left for you and may choose to negate the effect of the feedback on your Sexybay Score. Whilst a feedback item is being disputed, this will be documented on your feedback page and any outcome will be listed below the feedback. Feedback disputes must be lodged within 7 days from the feedback being lodged.

If you have a feedback dispute it can be filed at http://corporate.sexybay.com.au/enforce/feedback.
